Conditions We Treat

PANDAS
Pediatric Acute Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome

Healthcare services imageSudden, dramatic onset of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorder, eating restrictions, anxiety, behavioral regression, and neurological ties. An immune medicated inflammation of the brain triggered by infections, environmental factors or metabolic issues.

PANDAS is a subset more closely related to recent streptococcus infection. The streptococcus bacteria alone does not cause PANDAS – it is the last straw that breaks the camels back. These are disease states that ruin families, as symptoms can be so severe it can completely alter family life and dynamics.

Conventional treatments often fail. Most health care professionals do not understand PANS/PANDAS, often blaming the parents for poor parenting, blaming the child for lack of control. Treating it as an emotional problem rather than a biochemical problem or having the mistaken belief that throwing antibiotics at the problem to kill the bacteria should solve the issue. It does not.

Lyme Autoimmune
Lyme disease has confused and stymied medicine for years.

Healthcare services imageWe now have very strong evidence that the Lyme bacteria were bio-engineered in 1953 at the Plum Island Navy Biological Research Center.

The Lyme bacteria can be very hard for the immune system to detect and form an immune response, so it’s very often missed on standard blood tests.

Once the bacteria enter the cell, antibiotics are usually ineffective at curing the disease. They may suppress symptoms , but once the antibiotics are done the Lyme bacteria can “come out to play”.

My own experience was incredibly eye opening. In 2001 I became acutely ill overnight. I saw dozens of doctors of all kinds, Functional Medicine Dr, Medical Dr, Rheumatologists, Infectious Disease Dr……

All of my symptoms pointed to Lyme, but the only thing that showed in my blood was a massive indicator for autoimmune disease.

Over the next 8 years I tried every Lyme treatment available, including (reluctantly and very unsuccessfully) a years’ worth of antibiotics and statins. In 2008 I was introduced to the Spectra Vision Scanner, which indicated a massive immune reaction to the Lyme bacteria.

This was also the year I was introduced to the Des Bio Immune System Treatment for Lyme disease and Lyme Coinfections. It took about one year, but I got my life back.

How do we treat Chronic Lyme disease? The same way we treat any autoimmune disease. Find the bacteria and viruses creating the inflammatory response, aim the immune system at the offending microbes, add in protocols to reduce inflammation and toxins and allow the body to heal.

Since those early days I have treated hundreds on chronic Lyme patients very successfully.
